boys day out

02-02-13

So you're a bride who feels at home in the great outdoors; happy as a pig in mud when you're a pottering in your garden; or hiking through shrubbery listening to the bell bird song. A Mrs Woman-VS-Wild needs her own Man-VS-Wild! If your lover boy is a regular Bear Grylls his lads had better organise a Bucks Party to suit. Here are a few suggestions for you, to get your rowdy pack of lads partying hard out in the wilderness...

Discover the dark and the dank underground of the countryside you never thought existed with a day of caving! Start your adventure on the river, negotiating the rapids. After lunch, take a guided tour of glow worm lit caves, listen to the cave crickets and hear the stories of the mysterious critters that dwell in the depths. Rather head up than down? Take to great heights at your nearest mountain climbing region with a rock climbing and abseiling day. Let your instructor guide you from beginner rocks to open air declines and finish with some gut wrenching face forward rundowns!

Take the boys out for a day on the water and compete for the catch of the day on a charter fishing boat! Pack a delicious lunch, stock up the eski and head out to sea like the bunch of swashbucklers you are. Boats generally take up to about 16 people per trip for around $100 each, depending on the size of the boat. Some charter companies will clean, gut and wrap your catches for you too take home at the end of the day as well. There's dinner sorted!

A real rev-head at heart? Take to the dunes and brace yourselves for twenty minutes of hair raising burn outs in a V8 Buggy ride. Take in the sea side sights in between jumps, wall rides and clinging on for dear life! Or find your nearest karting rink and burn rubber around the tracks as you compete for the fastest lap time. Slowest lap buys first round!

Want a more relaxing way to celebrate your last day as a single man? Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine with a crisp brew in hand during a beer and BBQ course. Learn those little tricks of the grill that will take your next Australia Day lunch from char to champion as you're guided through a delicious menu of seafood, steak, salad and dessert. Enjoy your hard work at lunch time as each of your creations is served to you with perfectly matched craft beers and a tutorial on how to pick the right brew for each meal.
